Hi, I'm John Breitfeller,
I was born and raised in Manhattan, New York City, NY. On the upper east side. I lived there for 15 years. I went to PS 151 for pre school. Our Lady of Good Counsel for grades 1 to 8. I graduated in 1979. Cardinal Hayes High School in the Bronx for High School.
I played 3rd base for the OLGC (Our Lady of Good Counsel) Angels baseball team, we played our games under the Queensboro Bridge, on the Manhattan side, on a clay field, and I also played center for the OLGC Basketball Team.
I graduated in 1979 and attended Cardinal Hayes High School. I decided to play ice hockey in high school. I played center for the Hayes Cardinals junior varsity team.
I left New York in 1981 after my parents separated and we moved to Pensacola, Fl. My mother’s sister had a house there, and she was willing to take us in.
I attended Tate High School in Cantonment, Fl. for my junior year. I had to give up sports because I didn't have anyone to rely on for transportation. My mother didn’t drive until years later i convinced her to learn how to drive, and she finally did it
I attended Woodham High school for my senior year due to redistricting. I graduated from there in 1983. I went to work for a burglar bar company where I would prep them with a grinder with a wire brush wheel, then I would paint them and sometimes I would help the crew install them on customers windows & doors.
In March of 1985 I decided to join the Army. I attended boot camp in Fort Jackson in Columbia, South Caroliina. I turned 19 in boot camp in late April.
After boot camp it was off to Fort Gordon in Augusta, Georgia where I would learn the specialty that I signed up for which was 31C, which is a Single Channel Radio/Teletype Operator.
I wound up staying there for an extra three months because I had to be able to type something like 30 words per minute. Plus, I got selected to learn Morse Code.
I had to be able to send and receive a certain amount of words per minute. I can’t remember the exact amount, this was almost 40 years ago. I aced the final exam by the way.
My enlistment required me to serve one year in South Korea. I departed for Korea in December of 1985. I was stationed at Camp Casey in Dongducheon, South Korea about 30 miles from the DMZ (demilitarized zone).
Home of the 2nd Infantry Division returned to the States in January of 1986. I spent the remainder of my enlistment at Fort Bliss in El Paso, Texas. The Army decided to get rid of the 31C MOS (military occupational specialty).
So they told me I could reenlist and go back to school and learn a new specialty or take an early out. I took the early out in January of 1988 two months shy of my 3 year enlistment under Honorable conditions.
I returned home to Pensacola, Florida in January 1988 and started working for an Air Conditioning & Heating Company as an Hvac mechanics helper installing ductwork in new construction & retrofitting ductwork in older homes that never had central heating and AC.
I got my first desktop computer around June of 2001 from Gateway. I started hearing about people making money from home on their computers. I originally started searching about learning how to invest to grow a nest egg. I got sidetracked by people talking about making money with affiliate marketing.
I've been trying to create a second income from affiliate marketing since 2001, and let me tell you, it ain't easy. Unless you find someone who is successful and isn't going to sell you some BS that doesn't work, just so he can make money off of you.
It was so hard, I gave up and went to truck driving school in 2002, and became an over the road truck driver. I’ve been driving trucks ever since and researching affiliate marketing whenever I have time off.
I started this website to help opportunity seekers to find the tools and resources I use to grow my business, and that could help you grow yours too.
